Strip that Fat Diet Book

Company:
Strip That Fat
Website:
www.stripthatfat.com

Recommendation: Highly Recommended
Rank: #1
Cost: $47.00

Review: The basis of this diet is on eating smaller meals more often so you are effectively eating five meals a day. By eating smaller portions of the right foods you can actually speed up your metabolism which helps to burn fat and reduce the weight. The best part of this system is the diet generator. Simply enter the foods you want to eat, and a diet will be created for you. It also provides a printable diet outline and shopping list! Plus there are plenty of tips like how to 'trick' your body into feeling full, how to handle eating out and even how to burn calories while you are resting. AND there is a 60 day money back guarantee if you find this method doesn't work out for you.

Conclusion: This is definitely recommended by us. The techniques are easy to follow, definitely doable and being able to eat 5 meals a day is a bonus.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet eBook

Company:
Fat Loss 4 Idiots
Website: www.fatloss4idiots.com

Recommendation: Okay for quick weight loss but not for long term maintenance.
Rank: #2
Cost: $39.00
Description: This works in much the same way as the Strip That Fat diet book with the recommendation on eating more frequent meals but this is definitely not a long term program. The emphasis is on losing quick weight in a short number of days.

Conclusion: Not a good long term weight loss system, but if you are looking for quick weight loss this may do the job. But keeping the fat off is an ongoing process so you need a system that you will be able to keep to for the long term.

Zone Diet Books Reviewed

Title: The Zone Diet Books

Recommendation: Okay if you are prepared to work at it.
Rank: #3
Cost: $16.00 - $39.00
Description: The Zone Diet focuses on maintaining a balance of 30% protein, 30% fat and 40% carbohydrate. To ensure optimal effectiveness, 'Zone Blocks' have been created with each block correlating to a standardized amount of protein, carbs or fat. Depending on your height, age, weight and various other factors, you are given a certain number of blocks per day which have to be allocated for meals during the day. If that sounds complicated then you're right. For this diet you really need to maintain focus. Also be prepared to lose out on quite a few staples including rice, bread, potatoes and pasta as well as certain dairy foods.

Conclusion: This diet is just a little too complicated and time consuming for our liking and not one that we believe can be maintained for long periods. Also, having to weigh and measure foods to ensure you are eating exactly the correct portions is a big thumbs down from us.
